8. Safety cabinet with reverse flow

Faster – FlowFAST H-RF

Faster designed a new cabinet, which works with a

reverse flow to protect the operator and the

environment against powders and aerosols.

Features:

• Total exhaust cabinet: 100% filtered by a H14

HEPA filter.

• Noise level far below <55db.

• Work surface in AISI 304 stainless steel.

• Different work bench sizes available: 0,9m - 1,2m

- 1,5m - 1,8m.

With their 830 x 650 x 980mm ( w x d x h ) overall dimensions, SafeFAST Light cabinets are

the smallest microbiological safety cabinets manufactured in accordance to EN 12469:2000

currently available on the market. In spite of their small

dimensions, SafeFAST Light cabinets include all the main

technical elements of Faster Class II equipment such as:

 Internal AISI 304 stainless steel surfaces.

 Hinged frontal folding sash-window.

 Aluminium night door panel and electrical outlet.

 ECS microprocessor and digital display.

10. AirFilm Thermal Seal for tubes

FluidX – AirFilm

AirFilm aluminium film is designed for the individual sealing of polypropylene micro tubes in

96 or 384 format racks.

• Impenetrable barrier: Creates an air-tight seal

that can be easily removed by peeling. Ideal for

low temperature sample storage (-196°C).

• Ideal for automated use: AirFilm seals can be

pierced with suitable liquid handling tips.

• Reduce risk of sample damage: Heat transfer

during sealing process is lessened by the

“embossed” seal construction which creates an

air pocket between the seal and tube.
